M-2030 at the Manege
From August 7 to 31, 2025, the Central Exhibition Hall "Manege" is hosting the interactive exhibition "That Very Moscow" — the key event of the "Future Territory. Moscow 2030" forum-festival, organized by the Moscow Government. The exhibition showcases the capital’s major achievements in transport, urban planning, and industry.
The central section of the exposition is dedicated to the history of the Moscow Metro. Through several interactive installations, visitors to "That Very Moscow" can learn about the past, present, and future of the metro, as well as see important elements of its construction and development.
In the zone dedicated to the future of the Moscow Metro, the latest digital technologies and equipment from leading Moscow-based enterprises are presented. Among the highlights is the next-generation M-2030 smart-turnstile from Infomatika.
Developed by the company’s engineers specifically for the Moscow Metro, the new smart-turnstile will form the backbone of the updated metro infrastructure in the coming years and will also be used at MCC and MCD stations. By 2031, over 4,500 next-generation devices are planned to be installed.
Support for all modern payment methods, including contactless bank and transport cards (Troika), NFC tags, QR codes, biometrics.
Increased throughput capacity: the gate post is only 12.5 cm wide, enabling more gates to be installed in a single lobby, thereby increasing passenger throughput by up to 40%.
Haptic feedback for payment — a patented feature for visually impaired passengers. Upon successful payment, the gate emits a vibration signal to indicate permission to pass, eliminating the need for visual confirmation.
Floor light projection for biometric payment: helps passengers quickly identify the correct position for Face Pay transactions.
Reversible operation mode allows the gate flaps to open in either direction depending on passenger flow. In case of an unauthorized entry attempt, the system blocks the flaps and triggers an audible alarm.
Enhanced LED indication along the body of the gate, providing a clear and bright display of payment status
