UIA "Ice Palace", Cherepovets

The Ice Sports Palace is a key sports and cultural venue in the city of Cherepovets. It serves as the home arena of the Severstal Hockey Club, hosts matches of the Kontinental Hockey League, and also acts as a venue for concerts and mass events.

In 2025, the facility required a large-scale modernization of outdated infrastructure to meet modern requirements for safety, digitalization and comfort for spectators. Infomatika Company was selected as the contractor of the project.

As part of the project, the company's specialists have implemented an electronic access control system for viewers, accredited persons and technical staff of of SEACS Lenta. The system is included in the Registry of domestic software and provides:

• high-speed passage of fans through turnstiles due to fast verification of tickets, QR codes, jacks, MIFARE cards;

• secure storage of information about transactions, services, and user actions;

• integration with the ticket system, security software, marketing modules and analytics.

The system is based on semi-high smart turnstiles of the Vector Plus series with pivoting rods installed at the entrance groups of the ice arena. In the standard mode of operation, the rods control the passage of visitors, and when the "anti-panic" mode is activated, they fold up, providing a free exit. The devices support multifactor identification, which includes contactless cards, barcode and QR codes, biometric identification, as well as BLE and NFC tags.

A Vector Gate smart gate has been installed at the entrance to provide convenient access to visitors with limited mobility. The device retains all the advantages of multifactor identification, and in the event of an emergency, the gate automatically unlocks, providing an escape exit.

A separate passage through the Flagman Lite smart turnstile has been implemented for a separate category of guests — VIP box viewers. The turnstile is made of stainless steel and is equipped with a color display showing the passage status, reasons for failure and service notifications. An intelligent light indication is integrated into the turnstile design.: it suggests the direction of movement, displays user categories, and signals unauthorized entry attempts.

Lenta-TSD mobile ticket verification terminals are used as additional access control equipment in the work of stewards. Compact devices allow you to quickly check tickets anywhere in the facility and are synchronized with the central system.

The project included equipping the administrator's workplace. The AWP is connected to a single system and allows real-time monitoring of workload, equipment management, reporting, and interaction with the ticket system.

Scope of equipment:

    - production and supply of smart turnstiles "Vector Plus" — 19 pcs.

    - production and supply of the Flagman Lite smart turnstile - 1 pc.;

    - production and supply of smart gates "Vector Gate" — 1 piece;

    - delivery of Lenta-TSD mobile ticket verification terminals — 5 pcs;

    - delivery of a set of fences;

    - supply of equipment for staff workplaces: administrator's arm- 1 pc.;

    - commissioning works.
